Creditor's Practice, Bankruptcy Law

The Small Business Reorganization Act (SBRA): A Crash Course

Description:

Bankruptcy Code subchapter V of Chapter 11 is subject to a debt cap increased during the pandemic to $7,000,000. The cap "sunsets" on March 27, 2022, so business clients requiring reorganization may need to file on an expedited basis to take advantage of the pre-sunset debt limit. This high-quality webinar will provide debtors' counsel with the information they require to move quickly: an introduction to the Small Business Reorganization Act (SBRA); a summary of the procedure to be followed in the initial stage of a Sub V case; and a guide to forms that will be required to commence the case and get through the critical early days of the case. In the process, this excellent block of of CLE is being provided by the TBA before the end of the year.
