Perlmutter, one of the first reported decisions involving artificial intelligence, and Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts v. Goldsmith, the decision from the Supreme Court of the United States clarifying the interpretation of “transformative” with respect to the fair-use defense under The Copyright Act of 1976.
