Description:

This course surveys the growing range of artificial intelligence tools available to litigators and explains how they can be used throughout the life of a case. Participants will learn how different categories of AI products support legal research, document review, discovery, drafting, deposition preparation, evidence analysis, and trial presentation, as well as how to evaluate which tools are appropriate for particular litigation tasks.

• Compare the major categories of AI tools available to litigators, including legal research platforms, document-analysis systems, drafting assistants, discovery tools, and trial-preparation applications.

• Learn how to assess and select AI products based on accuracy, security, confidentiality, integration, cost, and the needs of a particular case or practice.

• See practical examples of how litigators can incorporate AI tools into existing workflows without replacing professional judgment or established quality-control procedures.
