• Disability Law 2020: The Nuts and Bolts of a Social Security Practice
  
  

  This presentation focuses on how to set up and run a Social Security practice in an efficient and ethical manner. It discusses different possible models for a Social Security firm, including a boutique attorney driven model and a case manager model. We provide implementable suggestions for how to most efficiently utilize staff and technology. We talk about ideas for marketing and obtaining referrals and leads for new clients. Finally, we cover the ethical obligations for attorneys in a Social Security practice utilizing the ABA model rules. Ethical considerations covered including attorney supervision, marketing, advertising, and withdrawals. This presentation also includes sample documents and a discussion of how to use them in practice to help clients develop disability claims.
