Workshop For The Minority Lawyer

Description: Join TBA’s Committee for Racial and Ethnic Diversity for this half-day program which is designed to help facilitate the development of minority attorneys. In addition to providing substantive legal knowledge in one of the most important areas of emerging law, this program will teach practical business development skills and provide networking opportunities. Join keynote speaker Thomas Sager, with Dupont, as he discusses diversity in the legal profession. Tom Sager helped pioneer the Dupont Convergence and law firm partnering program which has become a benchmark in the legal industry.

A special hightlight of the program will be the luncheon keynote address from Dupont's Thomas Sager, who has been a pioneer in developing diversity to the legal profession. Mr. Sager helped develop the DuPont Convergence and Law Firm Partnering Program and continues to have oversight responsibility. The program has become a benchmark in the legal industry.

Mr. Sager is past chairman of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association, a group that advocates for the expanded hiring, retention and promotion of minority attorneys in corporate law departments and the law firms they serve. In addition, he serves as a board member for the CPR International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution; Appleseed; Delaware Law Related Education Center; and the Atlantic Legal Foundation.
