Disability Benefits Forum 2011

Social Security Disability for Experienced Practitioners
Description: This forum will give practitioners a basic understanding of how COBRA, Workers’ Compensation, Medicare and Long-Term Disability intersect with Social Security disability to provide guidance to your clients.

If you are a practitioner that is somewhat familiar with the social security process, this seminar will hone your skills regarding vocational expert testimony, what major issues you can expect to arise from the initial application process through the administrative law judge hearing, and how to obtain your attorneys fee for the work you have done.

This program will also provide practitioners with a chance to ask a member of the Board of Professional Responsibility questions that arise in the disability field of law. The BPR disciplinary counsel will discuss issues that come before the Board on a regular basis and how to avoid those pitfalls.
