Seasoned practitioners and jurists will provide guidance on litigation in Tennessee from the moment a case comes in the door, through the pleadings and discovery stages, right up to trial. Particular attention in this 7 hour CLE (6.0 General/1.0 Dual) will be paid to obtaining injunctive relief and protective orders, taking winning depositions, using motion practice to your advantage, and setting up your case to obtain a favorable settlement. In-house attorneys also will share their expectations of outside counsel in handling litigation and Tennessee State Attorney General Robert E. Cooper, Jr., will offer keynote remarks.
