Disability Law Forum 2014

Description: The TBA Disability Law Section’s CLE will present disability practitioners best practice guidance and insights from Administrative Law Judge William Taylor with the Social Security Administration about the disability hearing process. Eric Buchanan, of Eric Buchanan & Associates and TBA Disability Law Section Executive Council Member, will also provide practitioners an understanding of federal court practice issues seen on a regular basis and how to effectively present disability law cases in federal court, including important information about how to get paid for federal court work.

Ethel Zelenske, Director of Government Affairs, National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR), will provide an update on current issues and changes in Social Security Law. Attorney and Disability Law Section Executive Council Member Harold Parker will share his experience and knowledge of Veterans’ benefits and the ethical issues involved. The later presentation includes ethical considerations for one hour of ethics credit.
