Creditors Practice 2014:

Current Developments

The Tennessee Bar Association's Creditor's Practice Section will provide you information on current developments in creditor's practice at this annual program.

The first portion of the program will be a discussion of recent Tennessee case law and the effect on legal collection practices. The second portion will be a discussion of the new Tennessee Collection Service Act amendment dealing with banking regulations. The third portion will focus on the current state of rules and regulations promulgated by the CFPB, and the fallout for law firms and clients. The final portion will be a discussion of verification, validation and recent federal case law.
