Social Security Basics: Disability Hearings

Description:

This presentation will cover the functions and processes for the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review (ODAR). This is the administrative office that handles Social Security hearings after a claimant has been denied at the state level which, for purposes of this presentation, is Tennessee’s Disability Determination Services (DDS).

This session will teach you the mechanics of how claims move through the system at the hearing level, the evidence that is key to disposition of a claim, and possible post-hearing actions.

Learn this and much more in this one-hour session.
