Environmental Law: Climate Change Law and Policy

Description:

This session will review the Federal Environmental Protection Agency's efforts to regulate greenhouse gases to combat climate change. This will include a history of the efforts since the Supreme Court 2007 decision in Massachusetts v. EPA and the 2014 Supreme Court decision in Utility Air Regulatory Group v. EPA and a discussion of the proposed regulations for new and existing sources under section 111 of the Clean Air Act. The speaker is Steven Stout from the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation.
