Ms. Odeneal did a wonderful job summarizing juvenile law. She is obviously very knowledgeable in the subject. I really enjoyed the presentation.

New Insights: Without a Parent in the State of TN can be through mental health as well as by incarceration or a parent living outside the state. Need more info on case law stating that drug exposure at sole control of parent is severe abuse -- statute states intrauterine is, but I did not know that post-birth exposure absent significant abuse might also be basis for severe abuse. Delinquency "conviction" cannot occur absent continued need for treatment/rehabilitation.

The power point presentations are less effective with animation when you are not watching the video live. It kind of messes with the timing of the presentation. This was fantastic for attorneys who practice juvenile law as a great review and excellent for those looking to get into juvenile law.

Ms. Odeneal is an excellent speaker. The presentation was also very informative of basic law relative to proceedings at juvenile court.

Discovery in juvenile cases.

Very well done overview.
