In this session you will learn about Medicaid Appeals and Choices medical eligibility and appeals. The first speaker will give overview of Choices medical criteria. This includes: PAE scores, Assessing Functional Measures, Safety Determinations, and PAE appeals. Next the second speaker will talk about common reasons for denials and the appeal process. The appeal process includes: Notice of Appeal, Appeal Packet, Hearing Process, Witnesses and Exhibits, and Format of Hearing.
