Intellectual Property Law Forum 2020: Day 2 Registration

Bringing the Vices (and IP) to You
Description:

*** This is registration to only attend Day 2 of the virtual event ***

The Intellectual Property Law Forum originally scheduled for April 17 will now be a virtual CLE event, held over two days, July 15 - 16. The TBA IP Executive Council has put together a fantastic program to discuss intellectual property with vices front and center.

Day 2: The program continues on day two exploring the various forms of available IP protection for the Cannabis industry and ends with insights into how to best distinguish and protect your home brew from others. Those sessions run from 1 to 3 p.m. CDT. Attendees can earn two general CLE hours.

  • 1 p.m.: “Hemp v. “Marihuana”: Concentration of THC Affects Availability of IP” by Seth Ogden
  • 2 p.m.: “Trademark Lessons from the Alcohol Industry” by Ryan Levy
  • 3 p.m.: Virtual Happy Hour (Optional)
    • Immediately following the last session, we invite you to stay on Zoom, grab your beverage (or vice) of choice and chat with speakers and other attendees. Feel free to ask questions related to the program or network with fellow colleagues.

In an effort to provide flexibility, the TBA is offering various registration options:

Format & How to Join: This virtual event will be live on Zoom. Attendees will be able to ask questions through the chat feature. The email associated with your TBA account will be the email that receives the link to join the Zoom meeting invitation. Since this is a live, virtual program, it will begin promptly at 1 p.m. CT on Thursday, July 16.

Please Note: You must register prior to 12 p.m. CT on Thursday, July 16 in order to receive the Zoom email invitation.
