The Administrative Procedures Division provides professional administrative judges to resolve disputes between citizens and governmental agencies in an impartial manner. These matters are governed by the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act (Tennessee Code Annotated Title 4 Chapter 5). Sponsored by the TBA Administrative Law Section, this live Zoom webcast will provide an overview of the APD’s current procedures from filings to final orders, presented by Administrative Judge Phillip R. Hilliard and Jackson attorney Jonathan O. Steen, who is also a sitting member of the Tennessee Board of Appeals. The presentation will include instructional information and provide practical answers to many common questions from practitioners. Topics will include electronic filings, videoconference and telephonic hearings, handling of exhibits and more.

This program will utilize Zoom Webinar. Attendees will be able to ask questions through the chat feature.
