Disability Law Roundtable: Best Practices and Technological Updates for SS Disability Hearings During the Pandemic

Description:

**Registration for this program has closed. If you need help registering late, please email CLE@tnbar.org**

This Disability Law Section roundtable will be slightly different than the previous monthly section roundtables in that it will be eligible for 1 Dual CLE credit! This roundtable/CLE program will not be recorded, so it will only be available to those who are able to attend it live on Friday, April 23 from 2:30 – 3:30 pm CT. Members of the Disability Law Section can attend this roundtable style CLE program for the discounted section member price of $35. Registrants will be emailed with the Zoom link on the day of the program.

Moderated by section executive council member Chris George of George & George, the program will begin with a discussion by Chief Administrative Law Judge Paul M. Stimson and Hearing Office Director Terry Angle out of the Memphis Office of Hearings Operations. They will discuss best practices and technological updates for social security disability hearings during the pandemic, and in particular the new video hearings that have recently become available to practitioners. Additionally, Chris will discuss the recent agency updates to the musculoskeletal listings. Since this is a roundtable style program, attendees are encouraged to ask questions throughout the hour. There will be time allocated near the end of the program for section members to ask questions related to general daily practice.
