Issues Facing In-house Lawyers: A Panel Discussion

Description:

This webinar covers the legal environment of in-house counsel. Panelists discuss the life of an in-house attorney in government, corporation and educational institution settings. Participants also describe how they manage outside counsel, work-life balance and the forever changing legal landscape. Considerations include the closeness of clients and expectations of response time.

I liked the panel format of this presentation and learned a lot from the different perspectives presented. All of the speakers contributed valuable ideas about in-house practice. Since I am an in-house attorney I found the topics discussed to be very relevant to the kind of work that I do.

Good insights but felt like this was directed at younger practioners. I've been in-house counsel for the past 20+ years and not sure some of this was as applicable. But felt the renewed focus on mental health was a good tip - especially given that so many of us are remote workers.
