Probate law practice frequently involves the representation of representatives - whether the subject of a legal proceeding is disabled, deceased, a minor, or a beneficiary, it is often the lawyer’s duty to ensure they are protecting the interests of said subject and the subject’s fiduciary. But what is the lawyer’s duty when the subject and the fiduciary are at odds? In this panel discussion, we will hear some of the most common ethical issues that arise in probate practice, and how lawyers may best navigate them.

Great knowledgeable panel. I did not set any materials for the course rate. Some initial technical difficulties with the Zoom connection for presenter, but was resolved.
This was a great panel discussion. Judge Gomes is a wealth of knowledge! I especially liked the clarity around who the client is when it comes to drafting an engagement letter.
