This CLE, aimed toward general practitioners, will help provide an overview of the employment at-will doctrine and basic exceptions to it under state and federal law. We will explore important laws that limit the at-will doctrine, including discrimination and harassment, retaliation & whistleblowers laws, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, pregnancy related non-discrimination and accommodation law, and laws that prescribe required pay practices, including the Fair Labor Standards Act and Tennessee state regulations.

Enjoyed hearing about all the ways to bring retaliation and other employment related matters, including the recent developments with the THRC
Great combo of presenters--both well respected and practice with integrity on their respective sides of the employment law bar.
