This program will highlight how requirements in the environmental arena are helping to shape administrative law. Practitioners will discuss hypothetical issues including case development, pleading and practice and different issues that have arisen in the administrative law context with respect to contested cases.
This presentation will begin with a general overview of the Tennessee Public Records and Open Meetings Acts. After reviewing the basic framework and requirements of each Act, the presentation will focus on recent Tennessee court decisions, amendments to the Tennessee Code, and trends related to open meetings and public records.
In this session, Laura Chastain will cover the Supreme Court changes in the Rules of Professional Conduct and the Rules for Disciplinary Enforcement. Chastain will also address recent Disciplinary Decisions and other updates from the Board of Professional Responsibility.
