Environmental Law: Changes in the Land Use Landscape (Koontz v. St. Johns)

Description: This program offers general practitioners an opportunity to learn about the changes affecting land use and related environmental issues resulting from recent case law. The 2013 U.S. Supreme Court decision in Koontz v. St. Johns River Water Management District will be discussed and analyzed from a constitutional law, local government, and taking perspective. Presenters will discuss the decision’s practical implications, including its impact on stream and wetland mitigation.
