Dispute Resolution, Ethics

Alternative Dispute Resolution Forum 2016

The Many Faces of ADR
Description:

The TBA Dispute Resolution Section has designed this seminar for both ADR professionals (mediators and arbitrators) and lawyers, in recognition that, while many mediator, arbitrator and advocacy skills apply despite the subject matter of the dispute, there are nuances for different cases that depend on the type of case being mediated or arbitrated. We will include a presentation on the contributions of neuroscience to ADR, and a refresher of the ethical obligations of lawyers, mediators and arbitrators in ADR proceedings. The remainder of the presentations will examine the unique challenges presented by employment, health care, family and construction cases.

Continental Breakfast included.
