As a part of TBA CLE's on-demand webcast series, Navigating the Pandemic, this webcast will identify Labor and Employment issues that are implicated by the COVID-19 Pandemic, including: (1) the intersection of workplace safety and the Americans with Disabilities Act; (2) Wage and Hour considerations under the Fair Labor Standards Act; (3) Plant Closures under the federal WARN Act and Tennessee Plant Closure Law; and (4) Protected Activity under the National Labor Relations Act. The webcast will also provide an overview of the recently passed Families First COVID-19 Response Act with a focus on the Emergency Paid Sick Leave and Emergency Family Medical and Leave Act provisions that become effective on April 1.
