This presentation addresses the challenges of conducting hearings via Zoom or similar audio-visual conferencing technology, including on how to prepare witnesses and manage evidentiary proof.  There will be discussion of the ethical considerations surrounding remote witness testimony. Participants will learn from legal professionals who have used the technology, how it has worked, its limitations, and methods to improve access and use of the technology to efficiently move cases forward.

Zoom is very new and sometimes confusing to me. As I get more familiar I had a lot of questions about the process of having a hearing over zoom which included witnesses. This was very helpful.
