Local Government Forum 2026

Description:

For the first time since 2020, TBA's Local Government Practice section will present its annual forum in person! Join the fun on Friday, October 2 at the new TBA offices in Nashville.

Government law is an ever-changing practice area with a unique blend of constitutional, statutory, and case law. This year’s program will feature topics at the forefront of the field, including a Robert's Rules refresher with Margaret Norris of MTAS, a session on zoning, land use, and data centers with the newly-created UT Center for Local Planning, and an AI discussion with Laura Chastain of the BPR.
