Description:

Government law is an ever-changing area of practice with its unique blend of constitutional law, statutory law, and case law. This year's program will cover general provisions of the Tennessee's Open Records Act and discuss common records requests and issues working with school boards. Learn about the recent changed in laws relative to whistle blower protection and retaliatory discharge. Speakers will also address construction in government contracts and ethical considerations for government lawyers.
