Description:

The TBA's Creditors Practice Section offers current developments in this area of the law. The first portion of this program will focus on the current state of perfection and enforcement of liens for prime and remote contractors on residential and commercial property. The second portion of the program will give an overview of the current statutory procedures followed when conducting a non-judicial foreclosure. The third portion of the program will focus on the current state of rules and regulations promulgated by the CFPB, and the fallout for law firms and clients. Other topics include foreclosures and ethical issues related to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
