The IP forum will include presentations on patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secrets issues. Practitioners may attend any or all of the presentations based on their learning needs. The morning sessions will cover trademarks and the First Amendment, the punitive use of trademark law, and recent developments in copyright law. The afternoon sessions will address aspects of IPR proceedings, patent damages, and trade secrets. As part of a special TBA initiative in 2016-2017, there will be an ethics-eligible presentation on evolving legal markets, and over the lunch hour, a short presentation will address TBA's new Legal Assistance Volunteers for Patent Applicants ("LAVPA"). Please sign up so that we can know that you will need a lunch. Registration is open all day allowing you to come and go for the topics you are interested in. Take as many or as few hours as you need. Pay only for the hours you attend.
