The Entertainment & Sports Law Section of the Tennessee Bar Association is pleased to announce that its annual CLE Forum will take place on May 11 at Belmont College of Law. As always, this year’s forum will feature some of the brightest minds in the industry as they break down the latest developments and cutting-edge issues in the entertainment and sports industries. Specific coverage will include the American sports betting boom and developments in Tennessee’s betting framework; litigating copyright claims in the newly-established Copyright Claims Board; producer agreements with an inside look at licensing beats, sampling clearance, and the emergence of Artificial Intelligence in production technique and innovation; and best practices for maximizing attorney well-being and mental health brought to you by an all-star panel.

Attendees can earn up to 3 general and 1 dual CLE credits. Come out and make the most of your CLE experience. We look forward to seeing you!

Immediately following the program, attendees are encouraged to attend the happy hour reception at International Market from 5-7pm CT. Come mingle and interact with other attendees, speakers and TBA executive council section members in a relaxed and casual environment. We have to give a rough headcount to the restaurant, so if you plan to attend please complete this RSVP by Monday, May 8.

LOCATION: The CLE is located in Room 157, the Appellate Courtroom, at Belmont College of Law which is on the first floor of the Randall & Sadie Baskin Center located at 1901 15th Ave. South, Nashville, TN 37212. Take the elevator from the parking garage to the first floor, and you will immediately see the registration desk.

PARKING & VEHICLE REGISTRATION: Please note that Belmont instituted a new visitor parking policy. Please be sure that you register for a visitor permit ahead of your visit to campus via this link: https://belmont.aimsparking.com/. PARKING IS AMPLE AND FREE, BUT YOU DO HAVE TO REGISTER YOUR VEHICLE.

The Baskin Parking Garage is located under the Randall & Sadie Baskin Center, which is where the law school is located. When you enter the parking garage, on your left you will see a small room with an elevator. You will take the elevator to the first floor (Star 1) and then check-in at the registration table.
