We hope you will join us in Nashville for this year's Business Law Forum – a day of sharing ideas and insight for all members of the Tennessee Business Law community. This day-long program will be split into two mini-sessions “TN Business Law 101” and “Advanced Topics” with a networking happy hour to round out a day of connection and education. This is the page to register for lunch and three hours of afternoon advanced sessions.
After lunch, our forum shifts focus to more complex and nuanced issues facing Tennessee business lawyers. Kicking off the Advanced Topics mini-session will be speaker Vice Chancellor Laster from the Delaware chancery court, who will be sharing experiences from the bench and recent updates to Delaware law. Our second afternoon speaker will be focusing on tax and economic allocation provisions in LLC and partnership agreements. The last session of the day will further narrow the focus on entity formation, in particular the ethics challenges and conflicts of interest that attorneys face when forming new entities.
In an effort to provide flexibility for attendees with specific learning interests, the TBA is offering the additional option for folks to attend either the morning, afternoon or full day.
This program will be filed for Tennessee CLE credit. Please contact TBA for Georgia, Mississippi and Alabama credit.
