In this session you will hear from a panel about how to start and manage a nonprofit. Attorney Beth Sims will speak first about 5 items to think about when starting a nonprofit. Next, Natalie Corwin, President of Pet Community Center, will discuss 6 keys to managing a nonprofit. Finally, Gerald Lee Clemmons, a CPA on three nonprofit boards, will talk about budget and finance issues.
Dogs in Tennessee do not get one free bite. In this session you will hear about Tennessee case law dealing with dog bites and dog bite law. The speaker will run through state law T.C.A. 44-8-413, talk about several dog bite cases, and then discuss comfort dogs in court.
