Modern Law Practice Series: Legal Services Management Companies Changing Law Practice

Information on the Evolving Legal Market
Description:

The practice of law is ever expanding and evolving with the creation of Legal Services Management Companies. Outsourcing legal work to those management firms, who work directly with law firms of all sizes and corporate legal departments, is now entrenched in the legal marketplace. Such companies promote their existence by focusing on the opportunity to expand a firm or corporation’s legal capabilities and capacity to provide or produce the finished legal product.

Legal services management companies, like Counsel on Call, Cobra Legal Solutions and Latitude Legal, represent a growing trend in the legal profession and believe that through the collaborative efforts of multidisciplinary attorneys, they can help law firms and law departments deliver legal services with reduced cost and increased productivity.

This session will examine the increasing number of ways in which existing companies working in this space are expanding and new participants are joining the marketplace.
